The CG Product Photography Challenge
After ten years of mastering product representations we know one thing for certain — it’s quite hard to do it right!
We selected some cult designer furnishings created a few years ago, which can need some polygon-lift. Help us and win some cool prizes. Here’s the selection:
Enter our product photography challenge with these simple rules:
- Download the 10 predefined models with voucher code CGP1. Redeem the code here.
- Create product shots for one or more of them with the following requirements:
- 1600 x 1200 px resolution
- Build your own scene where the product must be the main focus.
- You can use other Design Connected and CG Connected 3d models to compliment the main product in the presentation (e.g. a flower, a sofa in the background, etc.). But you can also use other 3d models you created or acquired from elsewhere.
- You can use the existing materials, adjust them to look better or even create entirely new materials. The only requirement is to stick with what is officially offered by the manufacture of each product.
- Send us a maximum of 5 renderings for the models you’ve chosen at support@designconnected.com.
- The deadline is January 20th, 2019.
- The winners will be announced on January 22nd, 2019.
The rewards:
- You are here for the party gifts? Everyone can get the 10 premium models… Even if you aren’t going to participate. Just redeem code CGP1 in your account.
- We will choose one winner for each predefined model who will receive a voucher for 100 EUR for designconnected.com. The total prize pool is 1000 EUR!
