Going public! Meet us on Trello and see what’s next!

Do you want to suggest a product you would like us to make in 3D? Or are you just keen on seeing our latest, brand new 3D models?

Well, there is already a place where you can do all these things — our public Design Connected board on Trello! We love it, because it is accessible to the public and it’s laid out in such a simple way that it is easy to follow it. Our team actively participates on this board and uses it to directly engage with our community. So this is the right place for you to get insights into what we do and keep in touch.

Besides seeing what we are currently working on, our Design Connected Trello board also gives you the opportunity to actively contribute with suggestions for models to be made in 3D. Thus you can practically participate in the curation process for our galleries with 3D models of designer furniture, lighting and accessories. There are two ways of doing it:

We suggest — you vote for it

Here you can choose amongst models suggested by our team. You can vote up for the model most wanted by you. The model with most votes wins and will be made in 3D by our team. And more important, everyone who has voted for this model will be rewarded with the ready 3D piece for free.

There is one more thing we would like to pay attention to: choosing a winner model does not cancel the possibility of the other models being made. It just rather shows us which model you want more so that we make it with highest priority.

Suggested by you

This option gives you the chance to make your own suggestions for 3D models and thus help us update our galleries with fresh content. In case we approve a piece of furniture, suggested by you, to be made in 3D, you will get it free from us after it is ready. This is our way to say “thanks” to you for your precious contribution. And there is one more thing: everybody from the community, who has voted for this model, will receive it for free, too.

Please note that if the model suggested by you gets the most votes, this doesn’t guarantee you will see it immediately made in 3D. It can take some time till your idea is considered and accepted. Depending on the model itself and on our resources, some things can be more complicated for execution so more time will be needed to have them ready. However there is no doubt that we will divert more resources towards the choice being made.

Last but not least

If your suggestion has been accepted by our team, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with feedback from us. With regard to this there is one more thing we would like to clear out: anyone can suggest a model to be made in 3D, but this doesn’t necessarily mean that the suggestion will be accepted. We believe, you all have a good understanding of this.

Signing up

After you have signed in and subscribed to a card, you can follow its progress across the board, receiving notifications as it glides across the lists from “We suggest — you vote” or “Suggested by you” to “Next on the list” then to “Working on” and finally to “Latest on designconnected.com”. It’s really as simple as that.
